Is UGC part of USP? Can it offer USP degrees?
UGC is an independent franchise network powered by the academic standing and governance framework of USP. It is not affiliated with USP for granting qualifications and does not offer USP’s internal programs. Qualifications at UGC campuses are awarded through proposed affiliations with government education boards and regional public-sector universities, subject to official approvals.
How much investment is required to open a UGC campus?
A one-time franchise fee of PKR 2 Million is required, along with a total setup investment ranging between PKR 15 Million and 30 Million. The exact figure depends on your campus model, building condition and city location. Our team assists with full budget planning prior to signing.
What do I receive for my investment?
You receive rights to the UGC brand, standardized curriculum frameworks, the complete operations manual, campus IT management systems, staff recruitment guidelines, teacher training modules, marketing frameworks and step-by-step guidance through regulatory approvals.
What do I need to provide as an investor?
You provide the franchise fee, setup capital and a suitable building or land asset (owned or leased). You are also responsible for managing local daily operations, supported by UGC's systems and training.
How are program approvals and affiliations handled?
Intermediate programs are affiliated with local government education boards. Degree and professional programs are affiliated with regional public-sector universities. All programs are proposed and subject to government approval. UGC guides you through the regulatory application steps.
What ongoing support does UGC provide after launch?
Support continues throughout your operational lifecycle. UGC provides continuous staff training, updated operational playbooks, software maintenance, marketing strategies, regular quality audits and a dedicated point of contact.
Where can I open a UGC campus?
Initial expansion is focused across South Punjab, specifically within Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions and their surrounding towns. Nationwide expansion is planned for subsequent phases.
Are financial returns or profits guaranteed?
No. Revenue is generated via student tuition fees over time. Financial performance depends on campus location, facility size, operational management and local market demand. UGC provides a tested system and continuous support to optimize performance but does not guarantee fixed financial returns.
Can I convert an existing school or academy into a UGC campus?
Yes. Converting existing educational facilities into a UGC campus is a key growth strategy. We can evaluate your current infrastructure and outline a transition plan to upgrade your facility under the UGC brand.
